The Business of Culture
Linda Helistö is a Finnish-born business creative and cultural pathfinder who loves good business and stories that have the power to shift how we see the world.
With a background spanning IT startups, neuroscience-based services and international sales, she has worked on product development for clients like Microsoft, created coffee table books, built strategies and stories for new market expansion, and created cinematic shorts for emotional resonance.
She has worked on campaigns for companies like L'Oréal and HBO Max, handled marketing for medical clinics, and launched neuroscience-based services with leading health professionals.
The essence of her work is to help cultural pioneers find the story only they can tell.
Balthén, named after her firecracker concert pianist mother, was created to bridge art, science and whole-human well-being — and to do work that lasts. In the end, it's important that we leave a mark, in both business and culture. A mark that preserves what's good and amplifies the important.
For select projects, Balthén collaborates with world-class photographer Olga Poppius — whose editorial work has appeared in Vogue, Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan — to create visual storytelling at the highest level.
